Join us as we discuss how we can promote intrinsic motivation in our students when they seem overly focused on grades. The authors of Life Beyond Grades draw on classroom research to explain the stalemate between intrinsic and external motivation. They lay out a step-by-step blueprint for designing and teaching college courses that promote intrinsic motivation as a primary educational goal.

This is a face-to-face book discussion group. Meetings will take place in the Younkin Success Center Room 334. Participation is limited to 12 individuals for whom UCAT will provide books. Participants must commit to attending all four meetings. Registration will be on a first come, first served basis.
