Academic Integrity: Best Practices and Tools

May 24, 2018 | 10:00am to 11:30am

Experts from Office of Distance Education and eLearning (ODEE) teams involved with various aspects of eLearning and online teaching will present the basics instructors need to know in order to promote academic integrity in their courses. You will leave with a solid grasp of factors contributing to academic dishonesty and best practices for combatting them to create an atmosphere of academic integrity. Additionally, we will cover Ohio State-supported eLearning tools that supplement these best practices, including Turnitin, Carmen Quizzes and Proctorio, our new online exam proctoring tool. We will conclude with a review of resources that instructors can draw on for additional training and support.
