AAC&U webinar focuses on high-impact practices for equity

The Association for American Colleges & Universities has begun hosting Faculty Friday Webinars. This Friday, AAC&U experts will present "Designing High-Impact Practices for Equity and Impact in New Contexts."

"High-impact practices are known to deepen learning and engagement and to promote student success, but how readily do they translate to new contexts? Can faculty design similarly impactful teaching and learning practices even as they adapt to the sudden and massive shift to virtual environments now underway? Join the conversation to share strategies for supporting student success and advancing equity in new contexts—during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond."

The webinar will be moderated by Tia McNair, vice president for Diversity, Equity, and Student Success for AAC&U, and feature George Sanchez, director of the Center for Diversity and Democracy, University of Southern California; Timothy K. Eatman, dean of the Honors Living-Learning Community, Rutgers; and Chris N. Navia, associate vice president for Student Success, University of Wisconsin System Administration. It will take place from 2 to 3 p.m., Friday, April 17.
