Course Creation Studio

Course Creation Studios are offered to support Ohio State instructors and designers who want to develop, improve or rethink their online, hybrid or face-to-face course design through technology. ODEE instructional designers and staff are on hand to answer questions about CarmenCanvas and Ohio State's e-learning toolset, as well as other technologies you can employ in your teaching.

Think of the Creation Studio as a makerspace for course development, where you can get individualized guidance to try out ideas you've been thinking about but weren't sure how to put into action. The two-hour studio is open and unstructured. A brief introduction to supported tools is followed by ample time for collaborative discussion, sharing and consultation, and to test out the capabilities of various tools within the context of your project.

All experience levels are welcome – whether novice or advanced, we are here to work with you! If you're not sure what you'd like to focus on, you may explore the ODEE Resource Center to hone your interests prior to the event.

This is a BYOD (bring-your-own-device) event—bring a laptop.
