Creative Assessments with Technology

Are you using the same traditional assessment methods, like papers and quizzes, over again and again in your courses? Would you like to provide other methods for students to practice skills and display their knowledge? This interactive session will discuss why to use creative (or non-traditional) assessments, as well as how to set students up for success on those assignments. 

You will gain a high-level overview of different creative assessment types—such as video, blogs and podcasts—and of the various tools (iOS and non-iOS) that can be used to create them. You'll leave equipped with the resources needed to learn the tools that interest you so you can dive into using them in your courses.
