Amy Shuster is a tireless and passionate advocate for college teaching and for the idea that "Philosophy is for everyone!" They currently support a range of teaching activities in the Department of Philosophy from training GTAs to curriculum development and assessment. They envisioned, designed, facilitate, and assess an ongoing three-year training program for GTAs in Philosophy. They teach courses in social and political philosophy, including through the Ohio Prison Education Exchange Project (OPEEP), and they contribute to the GE Bookends as a Launch instructor and team lead.  They partner with ASC Career Success to offer workshops relevant to the distinctive concerns of Philosophy and PPE majors, including communicating Buckeye competencies in job materials and values in the workplace. They also facilitate and design learning experiences through outreach activities, including a summer camp for high school students (PACT) and a prison-based learning community (Philosophy for Humans).
