But MY Class is Different tackles online evaluations

Instructors struggling to deliver exams, quizzes, and assignments online are invited to a Drake Institute workshop, But MY Class is Different: Evaluating Students Online.

During several online support sessions, the Drake Institute will provide consultation to small groups of instructors who are interested in finding ways to effectively evaluate student learning in an online environment. Space is limited to six participants to allow time for the consultants to focus on individual questions.

Following this session, participants will:

  • Create robust evaluations of student learning that align with course learning outcomes.
  • Take advantage of lower stakes online assessment to promote student elarning.
  • Discuss concerns about evaluating student learning in their specific teaching context.

These workshops, facilitated by the Drake Institute Instructional Consultants will take place on July 16 from 1 to 1:45 p.m. and 2 to 2:45 p.m. then again on July 21 from from 1 to 1:45 p.m. and 2 to 2:45 p.m. You may register here.
